About Jeff Schenck
I build the part of a brand
a machine can't.
Chief Branding Strategist & Chief Creative Technology Officer. Fifteen years turning misaligned brands into ones with a clear reason to exist, and the commercial results to prove it.

Most brands are producing more than ever, and saying less that actually matters.
AI made execution cheap. It handles production, distribution, and optimization better every month. What it cannot handle is the why, why a brand exists, what it refuses to be, and how it makes people feel when the transaction ends.
That's the work I do. I embed with senior leaders on a fractional basis, or come in on a focused brand-strategy engagement, and build the philosophical architecture underneath the marketing, the meaning that execution can't manufacture.
Over fifteen years I've worked across healthcare, EdTech, SaaS, entertainment, and nonprofit, with startups and enterprises, B2B and B2C, generating more than $20M through targeted campaigns and leading 130+ projects. I hold an MBA in International Marketing, work from the SF Bay Area, CA, and take clients remotely in any country.
—The seats I’ve heldThe range that makes the integration work
Fifteen years, six seats. The CCTO role integrates with four peers: CMO, CBO, CTO, Creative Director. I have held three of them (CMO, CBO, Creative Director) and shipped systems alongside the fourth for years. Also on the record: Chief Global Growth Strategist across four verticals, Marketing Director, Head of Socials. That range is why the AI workflows I build fit into the exec ecosystem instead of trying to replace it. The taste floor sits above the machine. That is what makes the integration work.
—How I workOne standard
One recommendation I will defend.
Three weeks. Competitive alternatives, only-ness, the category read, and a message architecture. Half the fee credits back if you commission Architecture within sixty days.
Start with the diagnostic ADVISORY · BOUNDED · $38,500The full brand system your team executes against.
Six to eight weeks. Positioning, strategic narrative, naming and architecture, message system, rollout spec. The engagement the Diagnostic qualifies you for.
Scope the architecture ADVISORY · STANDING · FROM $6,500/MOSenior leadership inside your org, without the hire.
Three seats, tiered by what I own. Advisory Seat holds the standard. Embedded Officer owns brand and marketing strategy. Full Mandate adds the creative-technology stack.
Meet the seat SYSTEMS · BOUNDED · 2 WEEKSTwo weeks. One process. Handed back running.
The fastest way to see how I work. I take the process eating your team’s week and rebuild it as an automated system they own and can run without me. The Systems Engine pillar’s bounded first-step.

What are your credentials?
An MBA in International Marketing and fifteen years in creative and marketing strategy. 130+ projects led across ten or more industries, more than $20 million generated across all clients, and 496K+ YouTube views from branded work.
What do you actually build?
Brand architecture, and the systems that keep it intact. Positioning and messaging at the top, then the AI workflows, model stacks, and automations underneath that let a small team produce on-brand work at a volume that used to take an agency. Then I train your people to run it without me. More on what a Chief Creative Technology Officer owns.
Where are you based, and do you work remotely?
The SF Bay Area, CA, in the heart of Silicon Valley. I work remotely with clients in any country, B2B and B2C, from early-stage startups through enterprise marketing organizations.
What is The Creative Shift?
A biweekly newsletter on brand strategy, positioning, and behavioral architecture, read by senior marketing and executive leaders. Roughly 9,600 impressions an issue. Free to subscribe.
What does 'AI made execution cheap, meaning is now the advantage' mean?
AI has collapsed the cost of producing, distributing, and optimizing marketing. Those were the things that used to separate strong teams from average ones. What AI cannot generate is a reason for a brand to exist. That judgment is the scarce input now, and the real advantage.
Let's talk about what your brand
should be saying.
No forms. No funnels. One direct conversation.
